The Bue Hen feathery touch

Blue Hen Veterinary Services specializes in mobile vet care. Dr. Gruber travels to clients' wherever they may need his services - home, barn, farm and anywhere his Ram truck (Penelope) can drive to. The back of Pennelope is a fully kitted-out clinic that has everything Dr. Gruber would need to help you and your animals. We also have a horse trailer that can be used to transport any animal needing transportation.

Vet (DVM)

Neil Gruber

Dr Gruber is the muscles of the Blue Hen Veterinary Services. He graduated with a DVM from Tuskegee College and moved to the east coast. He loves his two pups and family time at the Lake in Kentucky. His passion for animals inspires Blue Hen to help as many animals as we can.

Practice Manager

Katy Bender

Katy does the heavy lifting in the background. She is an Economics Professor at the University of Delaware and graduated with her PhD from Ohio State University. Go Buckeyes! Katy currently has 7 horses and loves being outdoors with her family and friends.

Volunteer

Storme Buckle

Storme is a helpful hand around Blue Hen Vet Services. She is a University of Delaware Master of Science in Finance Graduate and is working in consulting. She loves animals!

Security Services

Rambo & Tango Gruber

These brave pups make sure to keep Dr Gruber and staff safe at all times. They take their jobs very seriously as it requires 24/7 attention.

Customer Service Representative

Ludi Bender

Ludi specializes in Barkology. He has excellent communication skills to ensure that all of our client needs are met with a big smile.

Wellness Co-ordinator

Nala Bender

Nala is a full-time fitness guru keeping the Blue Hen team in great shape. You can trust her to "run" our accounts with her tail wagging.

Human Resources

Pippa Bender

Pippa takes her job very seriously. You can trust her to keep everyone at Blue Hen Vet Services in line. On breaks from running the business, Pippa demands all of the attentions.

These two elderly pups are member of the Blue Hen Hospice Home. They keep our youngsters in place and have a special place in our home here.

The prettiest of pretty girls paves the way for Blue Hen Vet Services by eating anything that may be an in our path. She loves treats and trail rides with new friends.
